experts in inclusive practice
AMCC specialises in inclusive practice to facilitate equitable, effective, and high-performing working and learning environments. As experts in addressing structural inequalities, AMCC works with all types of organisations, but has particular insights in the space of higher education and graduate development, offering bespoke support to organisations working in these areas.
For AMCC, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are not add-ons, but central to everything we deliver. We believe that for organisations to be effective and successful, they must at their core be inclusive. Therefore, we support organisations to develop leaders, structures, processes, and ways of working that are inclusive by design, so that inclusion is built into the business-as-usual.
AMCC provides a range of services to cultivate inclusive and high-performing organisations including coaching, training, and consultancy. We also offer bespoke support for executive leaders, universities, and graduate employers. Everything we deliver is tailored to the needs of your context and aims - our goal being to help your organisation achieve their ambitions and thrive.
Aranee is a qualified coach certified in change management with significant experience in addressing structural inequities within organisations and services. An experienced trainer & consultant, she has established herself in the areas of leadership & management development; diversity, equity, & inclusion (DEI); and governance as well as international higher education (HE) consultancy.
Having spent majority of her career within the public sector, Aranee is a progressive leader with experience across teaching, educational development, student experience, research culture, and graduate success. A Senior Fellow of the HEA, she specialises in inclusive curriculum design to support positive student and graduate outcomes and has spoken and published nationally & internationally in this space.
A committed advocate for DEI, Aranee has worked towards addressing issues affecting ethnic minority & refugee communities in health, social care, and human rights for nearly 20 years. In the space of HE, she sits on a number of DEI-related advisory groups, is an Athena SWAN panelist, and has contributed to and led the Race Equality Charter (REC). She also contributes to various national & international networks and has recently co-led a QAA-funded collaborative project.
I worked with Aranee when she undertook group coaching within programmes I was involved in for mid to senior leaders. Aranee easily and quickly grasped the nuances of differing coaching contexts depending on the programme she was engaged with and she is very flexible in her approach to coaching in different client situations. It was always a genuine pleasure working with Aranee and I recommend her highly to those who wish to work with an insightful, thoughtful, and reflective coach.
Aranee creates learning communities with the clear goal of enabling others, recognising that we might all have very different starting points in terms of our understanding of and confidence in inclusive practice. She is a valued critical friend to many, delivering that critical friendship by asking difficult questions and by providing constructive feedback and examples on how to develop inclusive practice in individual, team and institutional approaches. She has an excellent grasp of strategy, makes things that seem complex much simpler, and is a strong collaborative partner in setting goals to do more, better and with impact. She will always be one of the first people I would think of when recommending an expert.
I found the manner in which Aranee lead our group was really impressive. Maintaining the perfect balance of being approachable and kind but also being clear and direct about the task in hand. All in all, I am delighted I got the opportunity to meet Aranee and will certainly continue to work with her in the future.
